| Born in Jakarta, 1966, obtained a bachelor degree in Agricultural Economics from Bogor Agricultural University
(Institut Pertanian Bogor) in Bogor, Indonesia, 1991. Appointed as President Director of Al Ijarah Indonesia Finance in April 2007. He
was a Director of Bank Muamalat Indonesia since April 2005. His career in Bank Muamalat started in 1991, as a trainee in the Muamalat
Officer Development Program, First Batch, which he passed in 1992 with the best predicate. His first posting was
as an Account Officer at the Corporate Banking Group of Bank Muamalat.

| Thereafter he held several positions including Head of Marketing Group, Branch Manager of Muamalat Surabaya,
East Java, Head of Nonperforming Financing Restructuring Task Force, General Manager of BMI Operations Head Office, Administration Group
Head, Alliance and Network Expansion Group Head, Assistant Director for Financing Affair.
He actively participates in several seminars on Islamic banking both at home and abroad, including in Malaysia, Singapore, Bahrain,
Brunei, Kuwait, Jeddah and Dubai.

| Born in November 1969 in Jakarta, Indonesia, Farouk Abdullah Alwyni, MA. MBA. is the Director of PT. Al-Ijarah Indonesia
Finance responsible for International Relation & Corporate Resources of the Company.
He brought with him eight years international experience working at the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), a Jeddah-based International Islamic
Financial Institution owned by 56 member countries.
Around 6 years of which, Farouk served as Trade Finance Official responsible for IDB trade finance operations in among others
Bangladesh, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Maldives, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan. During this time, Farouk had travelled extensively to
many parts of the Moslem world advising public & private sector on IDB trade finance operations.

| Prior to joining IDB, Farouk encountered his first international experience when he became a graduate intern
for one semester in the United Nations Headquarters in New York, USA.
Farouk obtained his MA in Economics from New York University, USA in 1998 & MBA from Birmingham Business School, the University of
Birmingham, UK in 2004.
Before embarking on his journey overseas, Farouk completed his first degree (Strata-1) in Banking & Financial Management from PERBANAS
School of Economics & worked for a while as a Marketing Officer (Private Bank Division) at Astra Insurance.
Farouk has published a number of articles in the Indonesian newspapers & magazines covering economic, social and political issues.
When not hard at work he is an avid reader on management, economic development and political literatures. He also enjoys watching
historical, philosophical, & political movies.
