Asharyanto Adrian Gunadi (36 years) completed the Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Rotterdam School of Business, Netherlands in 2003 after graduating as a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Indonesia in 1999. Started his career in banking at Citigroup in 1999 and in 2006 received the International Assignment as Associate Director, Islamic Products, Standard Chartered Saadiq in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Has served as Head of Sharia Banking in PT Bank Permata Tbk in 2009 and now joins the Bank Muamalat Indonesia as Director of Retail Banking. He officially became Commissioner Al Ijarah since April 24, 2012.
Fahad Al-Falah (34 years) received his Bachelor of Science in economics and finance from Boston College, Boston, USA and was educated at the London Business School MBA. He started his career in equity research division of JP Morgan in New York in 1999, this time he served as Principal Boubyan Capital Investments in Kuwait. In the course of his career, he has worked on several large banks and investment firms in Kuwait such as the Global Investment House, Kuwait. He also was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Mr. Matloob Ahmed Khan (64 years old) obtained his B. Com degree in 1965 and his MBA in finance in 1968. Currently he is a senior advisor of the International Leasing and Investment Company (ILIC) coordinating the establishment of new leasing companies in several IDB member countries. He has been also actively involved in delivering numerous Islamic banking training courses at Kuwait Finance House, Gulf Investment House, ILIC and other major financial institutions in Kuwait such as National Bank of Kuwait, Gulf Bank, Kuwait Real Estate Bank and Kuwait FX Dealer Association.

Mr. Herbudhi S. Tomo (43 years old) obtained a degree in agricultural economics from Bogor Agricultural Institute in 1991. He started his career as a trainee of the first Muamalat Officer Development Program, which he passed in 1992 as the best trainee. After that, he served as an account officer at the Corporate Banking Group of Bank Muamalat. Thereafter, he held several positions in Bank Muamalat including Head of Marketing Group, Branch Manager of Surabaya, Head of the Task Force for the Restructuring of Non-Performing Financing, General Manager of the Operational Head Office, Head of the Administration Group, Head of Alliance and Network Expansion Team, Assistant Director for Financing Affairs and Head of Network and Alliance Group. Prior to being appointed as the President Director of ALIF in April 2007, he had been a Director of Bank Muamalat Indonesia since April 2005.
Mr. Arief Indra Nurhari (41 years old) earned S.Kom of Gunadarma University, Depok in 1995, he later graduated as a Master in Agribusiness Management from Bogor Institute of Agriculture (IPB) in 2003. After graduation, he got a chance to follow the Executive MBA Program of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Philippines. In starting a career, his foray into the world of consumer finance for the first time in PT. Federal International Finance, he believed served as the Task Force Team to Head Office in Jakarta in 1995-1996, he served as a Branch Chief in 1997-1998 Samarinda. Amid his career, he served as Head of Bogor Branch in 1999-2003, and he served as Area Manager West Java in 2003-2004, he occupied a position of non-Honda (Used Motorcycle / Refinancing / Electronic) and Reposess Inventory Head Office, Jakarta in the year 2004-2006. Meranjak his career, he held positions as Customer Retention Management and Fleet Sales Head Office, Jakarta in 2006-2007. He then extended his career in Mega Finance, Jakarta as General Manager (Marketing & Sales) in the years 2008-2013. In 2013, he now serves as Director of Operations of PT. Al Ijarah Indonesia Finance.
Mr. Iman Budi Utama (41 years old) got a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Indonesia in 1995 and completed the Master's program Small Business Studies from Leipzig University, Germany in 2005 as the best graduates. He began his career as a Management Trainee at PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Tbk (BMI), Jakarta in 1995-1996. Spreads career in BMI, he served as an Account Manager at Bumi Serpong Damai Branch, Tangerang in 1997-1998, he also served as a reviewer in the Division of Corporate Financing Financing Support dijakarta in 1998-1999. For the rehabilitation of Aceh after the tsunami, he became a National Advisor of the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) in the Economic Recovery and Microfinance project in 2006-2007 NAD. His career continued as a Senior Specialist at PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) in 2007-2008 and was responsible as a program manager on several community development projects in various provinces in Indonesia. He succeeds his career at PT. Al Ijarah Indonesia Finance as a Senior Account Manager in 2008-2009, Head of Risk and Strategy Division in 2009-2013, until he was appointed as Director of Risk & Strategy.
Sharia Supervisory Board
K.H. Ma'ruf Amin (66 years old) finished his study at Pesantren Tebu Ireng before pursuing further studies at several pesantrens in Banten. He graduated from the faculty of Ushuluddin, Ibnu Chaldun University in 1967. He was a member of the House of Representatives/ People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia in 1997 and the chairman of the fatwa commission of the Indonesian Council of Ulemas in 2000. Currently he is also the chairman of the Board of Sharia Supervisors of PT. Danareksa Investment and PT. Bank BNI (Persero) as well as a member of the Board of Sharia Supervisors of Bank Muamalat Indonesia. In addition, he is also active as the chairman of the Managing Body of The National Council of Sharia and member of the expert committee for the Development of Sharia Banking of Bank Indonesia.
Prof. Dr. H. Muardi Chatib (76 years old) earned his PhD degree in 1989 and currently is a professor at the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Jakarta. He possesses 50 years teaching experience, starting from a teacher at Madrasah Tsanawiyah, Islamic Teaching School (PGA) until lecturer at several universities in Indonesia. He was the chairman of Da'wa commission of the Indonesian Council of Ulemas in 1999. Presently he is also active as a member of the Board of Sharia Supervisors of Bank Muamalat Indonesia.
Prof. Dr. H. Umar Shihab (70 years old) obtained his PhD degree in Islamic Law from Hasanuddin University, Makasar. He started his academic career as a lecture in the Institut Agama Islam Negeri (State Islamic University) and he was a dean of the faculty of Ushuluddin and the sharia faculty until becoming the director of School of Islamic Religion and Director of Ulema Cadre Education. He was also active in politics as member of the regional House of Representative of South Sulawesi in 1987-1992 and a member of the Indonesian House of Representative in 1987-1999. In addition, he was also the chairman of the South Sulawesi Chapter of the Indoncesian Council of Ulemas and the Chairman of the Indonesia Council of Ulemas. Currently he is also active as a member of the Board of Sharia Supervisors in Bank Muamalat Indonesia.
